Rant warning*
It seems almost everyone who watches a form of anime prefers the subbed version over the english dubbed, while i am on the lonley side that will watch it probaly only in english. But why is that? Everyone always seems to justify their answer with: well, its just better.
Think about it:
Certain animes take place in countries that it seems strange to have a japaense vocie for. Example: Hetalia sounds better with all the stereotypical accents because it adds to the characters, rather then them all sounding the same. Black Butler takes place in OLD ENGLAND so it adds to the experience that they are, in fact, speaking with an english tongue.
i understand different dubs for the enjoyment for people around the world (french, german, spanish) which is fine, i understand that, but why do people always have to say the subbed verison is better merely because it was a manga, therefore must be best in that language
